Requirements before submitting your article.

• The article or the story should not have been published before.
• The article should have a minimum of 500 words.
• The article should be in English.
• The article should have correct grammar.

Boulevard

Boulevard pays its writers for writing short stories, poetry, and essays. 

Pay: $100-$300 for stories and $25-$300 for poems.

The sun

This platform is one of the largest and well known magazine. They accepts stories and poems. According to the website the articles has no maximum word limits. That's mean you are able to go beyond 5000.

Pay; Essays $300-$2000 and Poems $100-$250.

The Missouri 

This one pays for poetry and fictions. Any type whether contemporary or non fiction essays.

Pay; $40 per printed page

Clarksworld

This one is another publishing station that publishes monthly. Here their writers are given a chance to write horrors, science fictions and fantasy. You can't mess up here. Your article should be between 1000 to 22000 words. They normally publish online so it's better for you to write short paragraphs.

Pay; 8-10 cents per word.

East of the Web

This one has a lot of categories in which you can write; romance, thrillers, fictions and even children stories.

The unique part with this site is that you can even write stories which were previously published.

Pay; 5 cents per word.

Flash fiction

About this publishing, they do accept short stories ranging from 500-1000 words. From their name just know they are in for fictions but they do also allow thrillers.

Pay; $60 per article.

One story

One story is another magazine that will surely pay you for your stories. The minimum words for your story should be 3000 and the maximum 8000. Here you can write your stories offline and send it inform of PDF, RTF and TXT. They don't allow articles published earlier. You can translate other stories into English but bare in mind to include the name of the original author.

Pay; $500 per article.

Carve

This website will pay you for writing stories, poetry and non fiction. NB; They do not allow erotics, horror, fantasy and others. Here you can submit your article anytime you feel like. They accept essays of not more than 10000 words and the poems should not exceed 2000 words. 

Pay; Essays $100 and Poems $25.

Bella Magazines

Bella magazine will pay you to share your personal story. Your story here should be non fiction only.

You are required to send them a brief outline before submitting.

Pay; £1,000 per shared story.

Zizzle

Zizzle pays writers for writing fictional stories and non fictions. The story should be submitted for verification before publishing. In order to pass the verification process, one should have a minimum of 500 words and a maximum of 2500 words. Only electronic submission is accepted. Some of your accepted stories will be illustrated by them.

Pay; $100 per story.

Asimov's Science fiction

This magazine is in for only science fictions. So incase you know a lot of science stuffs, then this can be great for you.Not only that but they do also accept poetry. The fiction should have a minimum of 1000 words and a maximum of 20000 words. They do not accept adult content. Currently users can submit their stories online.

Pay; 8-10 cents per word.

Strange Horizons

Strange Horizons accepts writers of fictions and other short stories. They do pay 8 cents per word. They want an article with the minimum of 5000 words and a maximum of 10000 words.

Pay; $500-$800 per article.

Pulp Literature

Pulp literature is a magazine that will offer you all genres to write on. Be it fictions, poems and non fictions. They want your story to be long enough to be accepted. They need a maximum of 7000 words.

Pay; 7 cents per word.

Analog

Analog is also great site that will pay you for writing fictions about science and facts. This site is quite unique because they are in for only science and technology. They also accept poems but few of them are posted. They need a maximum of 8000 words.

Pay; 8-10 cents per word.

Fireside magazine 

Fireside company started in 2012.This magazine is willing to pay writers for short stories of any kind. Here also allow fictional and non fictional stories. But they have a short period for submission. They do not accept violance of any sort and adult stories.

Pay; 12.5 cents per word.
